Safety & reporting
Protect yourself
Keep invitations and join passwords private. Compare safety codes through a trusted channel before private messaging; matching nicknames do not establish identity. Share location only with trusted rooms.
Long-press a received message to create a report or block its sender. Blocks identify public keys; keyword filters apply locally. Creators can revoke membership.
Submit a report
In-app reports are encrypted locally and are not automatically uploaded. Export a selected record from Settings > Privacy & data > Reports. Review it, remove unrelated personal data, and actively email it to admin@voalice.com.
Include the incident time, description and necessary message evidence. Do not provide full invitations, hotspot passwords, private keys or unrelated location data. Contact local emergency services for immediate danger; this app cannot handle emergencies.
Response scope
quite awesome receives support and complaint emails and reviews submitted information for appropriate responses and practical product actions. Offline rooms have no central server; the operator cannot remotely inspect private chats, erase every copy or guarantee global bans.
Harassment, hate, threats, fraud, privacy violations and child sexual exploitation or abuse content and conduct are prohibited. Use applicable local reporting channels for suspected unlawful or child-safety issues; the developer will address applicable legal obligations.
Child safety standards
Starling prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual extortion and trafficking of children. These rules apply to all users and rooms.
Child-safety contact: admin@voalice.com. In the app, use About & contact or create a report by long-pressing a message. Review the report and actively email the relevant details. Do not send suspected illegal imagery or unnecessary personal information; provide the incident time, description and necessary identifiers.
quite awesome reviews submitted reports, takes actions available within the product and complies with applicable child-safety reporting obligations, including reporting confirmed CSAM to the relevant authority where legally required. Offline architecture limits remote intervention and does not remove these obligations.
Security issues
Send reproduction conditions, affected versions and redacted evidence to admin@voalice.com. Do not obtain or publish other people’s real conversations to demonstrate a vulnerability. The identity and encryption implementation has not undergone an independent security audit.
